a personal favorite and long beloved celebrity of mine, on the list, is Bjork. I think so many people misunderstood her incident at the airport, and called her mean, she wasn't being mean or like a diva at all. That really bothered me. She's not weird, (to quote last post) and she surpasses eccentric, she's just an extraordinary brilliant light in this universe, her music is incredible and shes also an amazing visual artist, her videos are so magnificent!

my thoughts:
I love Mariah Carey, she seems really sweet. I saw an interview with her once and she actually took the interviewer very literally when he made a joke, so maybe but then again maybe not.
maybe Anne Heche? Of Men in Trees, I've always liked her because she seemed to march to her own drummer and has overcome a lot. I haven't read her book yet but I want to.
maybe Calista Flockhart of Ali McBeal fame, because she seems introverted and quirky,
Andy Warhol - I think many people have written this about him.
Glenn Gould - that was confirmed I think, yes
I think David Byrne has actually said he is aspergers.
Jennifer love Hewitt - I don't think so,she's extraordinarily social - She's wonderful though, I like her!
Bill Murrey, I don't think so, he's just eccentric. I liked "What about Bob" it was funny. And Groundhog Day.

I don't think the people on this list largely are, Nicole Kidman is lovely and charming but she's so social - could an autistic person really stay married to tom cruise that long? i don't know, also I just can't see Julia Roberts or Ben Affleck being autistic at all. Ben Affleck actually used to have a problem with harassing people. Shirly Manson, maybe, yes, because of her lyrics.

I would say 100%, plus the person who compiled it obviously doesn't know what an Aspie is.

I feel like this obsession that I've had for several years is controlling my life. I try to stop obssesing about it but I guess I don't have enough will power. It's caused me alot of grief. I've lost countless friends and I feel pretty much alone. If anyone could give me some advice on how to stop obsessing it would be very much apperciated.

Try to think about it as little as you can... find new things to replace it with. Tell yourself over and over how much it's eating up all of your time and how you wish you had more time to do other things. This should be a good start.

Lots of people have beaten a lot of much tougher addictions than diagnosing celebrities as aspies. Like, say, heroin and alcohol.

The only way to quench an obsession like that Snoopy is to replace it with another obsession. What astonishes me
is how poorly understood OCD and Obsessive-compulsive thoughts are by neuroscience as well as psychiatry and neurology.
There are PLENTY of medications out there for altering and stabilizing moods but medications to control
OCD and to stop obsessive thoughts seem to be non-existant.

I don't think Sarah Silverman is an aspie. I do think she plays an aspie-like character in her show, however.

My brother thinks it's ridiculous to think that Jake Gyllinhall is an aspie.
