7 - Some decent stuff on Monkey's playlist (particularly Paramore, Celtic Woman, Bat For Lashes), there's also a lot of stuff I've not heard of though.

My taste:
Yes (including solo projects by Chris Squire & Rick Wakeman)
Genesis
Jethro Tull
Andrew W.K.
Aly & AJ
Lights (aka Valerie Poxleitner)
B*Witched
Moody Blues
Styx
Goblin
Weird Al Yankovic
Frank Zappa
Emerson Lake & Palmer
Electric Light Orchestra
Puffy AmiYumi
Meg & Dia
ZO2

and the list goes on...just don't make me listen to any Beyonce :eew: :ncool:

Um, whoa. Eclectic if there is anything you get credit for. Though Jethro Tull is on my "to listen to" list as is Zappa, I've typically been unimpressed with big, bloated prog bands that use ginormous drum sets with 20 rototoms and eight splash cymbals. Likewise with Disneyfied teen pop like Aly and AJ.

2.99/10

Check my last.fm page //yes, this is a link// for the stuffs to which I listen. I can't say how accurate the top ten is anymore since I'm listening to new stuff all the time; they're all favorites, but don't get as much play as they used to. Don't be afraid to check below the top 50.

Everything on there that I've listened to is good. I still need to get into Portishead, the Beta Band, and all those GY!BE side projects.
7.63/10

As with last time, here's my last.fm page //yes, this is a link//; do take a look there to see to what I listen.

Radiohead, The Breeders, Elliot Smith, Weezer, I'd listen to your station!

Here's the last 10 things in my playlist, not a spectrum of representation but rather current obsessions:

* Lisa Hannigan
* Radiohead
* Brandi Carlile
* Heartless Bastards
* Damien Rice
* The Cliks
* Missy Higgins
* Neko Case

I love Radiohead and like Neko Case, don't know the rest, so I'll throw you a 7/10.

Here's my LastFM profile: http://www.last.fm/user/roofdogblues

My brother listens to music on the computer and it scrobbles it, so he kind of messes up my profile, but it's a decent indicator all the same.

To list some of my favorites: Radiohead, Clinic, Ambulance LTD, Arcade Fire, Supergrass, Black Keys, Kings of Leon, Wilco, Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, Pearl Jam, Black Angels, Wolfmother, Noisettes, Raveonettes, Destroyer, Sunset Rubdown, etc.

Hmm....I'm not a big Pearl Jam fan :lol: but there's some other cool stuff on there (Wolfmother! A guy in my office introduced me to them and they do rock rather hard.) 7/10.

I don't do last.fm, but here, in alphabetical order, is a bunch of stuff I'm into - although what I'm into on any given day may vary...

Alice in Chains. Tori Amos. Apocalyptica. Babes in Toyland. Bat for Lashes. Beat Happening. Beatles. Black Sabbath. Bonfire Madigan. Box Office Poison. Breeders. Neko Case. Johnny Cash. ...there are doubtless many more but will that do to be going on with?

Anyone with a Ministry of Silly Walks avatar is at least a 7/10 in my books already regardless of their musical tastes.

Your list is completely foreign to me so I couldn't say, but NIN, Tool and Bob Marley could encourage me to further look into your musical choices. Unfortunately I never will, as the rest of my time shall be spent looking up old Monty Python videos on youtube.

richardbenson: you didn't rate nansnick's taste, so I guess I'll do you both:

nansnick: Going from two posts ago, 5/10. Radiohead's always good, but I've never been a Neko Case fan.

richardbenson: 2.96/10. I know that metal's a difficult genre to traverse because of the diversity contained within, but to me it's all a but too samey.

As with last time, last.fm page ((link)); do take a look there to see to what I listen.
