So : the choice I have made
May seem strange to you
But who asked you, anyway ?
It's my life to wreck
My own way

You see : to someone, somewhere, oh yeah ...
Alma matters
In mind, body and soul
In part, and in whole
Because to someone, somewhere, oh yeah ...
Alma matters
In mind, body and soul
In part, and in whole

So the life I have made
May seem wrong to you
But, I've never been surer
It's my life to ruin
My own way

You see : to someone, somewhere, oh yeah ...
Alma matters
In mind, body and soul
In part, and in whole
Because to someone, somewhere, oh yeah ...
Alma matters
In mind, body and soul
In part, and in whole

To someone, somewhere, oh yeah ...
Alma matters
In mind, body and soul
Part, and in whole
So to someone, somewhere, oh yeah ...
Alma matters
In mind, body and soul
Part, and in whole

To someone, somewhere, oh yeah ...
Oh yeah ...
Oh yeah, oh yeah

Never Enough Lyrics
Artist(Band):Five Finger Death Punch

verse 1:
I'm so fed up with everyone around me
No one seems to care
I'm just so far gone and nothings gonna change
I'll never be the same

pre-chorus:
It's always do this do that
Everything they want to
I don't wanna live that way (No)
Every chance they get they're always
Pushing me away

chorus:
It's never enough, no it's never enough
No matter what I say
It's never enough, no it's never enough
I'll never be what you want me to be

verse 2:
It's all so messed up and no one ever listens
Everyone's deranged
I'm just so f****d up and i'm never gonna change
I lay it all to waste

pre-chorus:
They're always say this say that
Nothing that you want to
I don't wanna live that way (No)
Every chance they get they're always
Shoving me aside

chorus:
It's never enough, no it's never enough
No matter what I say
It's never enough, no it's never enough
I'll never be what you want me to be
I'm done!

verse 3:
In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete
Drawn only to be washed away
For the time that I've been given
I am what I am

verse 4:
I'd rather hate you for everything you are
Than ever love you for something you are not
I'd rather you hate me for everything I am
Than have you love me for something that I can't

outro:
It's never enough, it's never enough
No matter what I say
It's never enough, no it's never enough
No matter who I try to be
It's never enough, no it's never enough
No matter how I try to change
It's never enough, never never enough
I'll never be what you want me to be

And

Behind Blue Eyes Lyrics
Artist(Band):Limp Bizkit

No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes

And no one knows what it's like
To be hated
To be fated
To telling lonely lies

But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
i have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

No one knows what it's like
To feel these feelings
Like I do
And I blame you

No one bites back as hard
On their anger
None of my pain and woe
Can show through

But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
i have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

No one knows what it´s like
To be mistreated
To be defeated
Behind blue eyes

and No one knows how to say
That they're sorry
And don't worry
I'm not telling lies

But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
i have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes.

I feel like the lyrics of Solitary Shell by Dream Theater are being sung to me.

Um, Tommy? :D
I don't like the Who too much. I like some of their songs but I'm not really into them anymore.
I don't tend to identify with songs because I usually only listen to the tune and then it's about someone else, just because I might have one or two of the same feelings doesn't mean it's describing me. But I'd say some Aspie songs are:
Fool on the Hill, Nowhere Man, Mother Nature's Son- The Beatles
Wasn't Born to Follow- The Byrds
The Only Living Boy in New York- S&G ('I get the news I need on the weather report...half the time we're gone but we don't know where'...yas, we're all on E)
Pi, How to Be Invisible, Man with the Child in His Eyes- Kate Bush
Bluebird- Buffalo Springfield
Man from Milwaukee- Hanson (I guess...maybe I identified a tiny bit with this song when I was little :) I remember thinking 'that's me!' when I heard it).

Disappear by Jars of Clay....

I watch you smile
You steal the show
You take a bow
The curtain falls in front of you
You're magical, on display
I gaze into your eyes and
You turn to look the other way

But I'd really love to know
I'd really love to climb
My way into your heart
And see what I could find
I'd walk into your skin
Swim through your veins
See it from your eyes
I'd really love to try...yeah

Standing still, but in my mind
Trying to escape
Looking for a place to hide
Well it's not safe but I'm so near
Invading every place you go
To disappear

But I'd really love to know
I'd really love to climb
My way into your heart
And see what I could find
I'd walk into your skin
Swim through your veins
See it from your eyes
I'd really love to try...yeah

I'd really love to know
I really want to climb
Into your soul
Walk into your skin
Swim through your veins
See it from your eyes
I'd really love to try
I'd really love to try

Yeah...yeah...yeah...try

Yeah I wanna get inside the you
You're hiding from
Yeah I wanna get inside the you
You're hiding from
I wanna get inside the you
That you are hiding from

I used to be completely freaked out by the amount of attention some people would focus on getting to know me. It was often like they were trying to force their way into my life, and it was very uncomfortable to me. One day, when I was listening to this song, it all clicked. I realized that I am the one on stage, the one trying to hide. From an outsider's point of view I can often seem very mysterious, and what I take as people prying is just an intense curiosity and desire to know/understand why I am so different.

I also find that it is somewhat of a metaphor for how cope with social aspects of life...magical on stage, but as soon as the curtain closes all the pretending and practiced behaviors fall away...

Ha!, and I came here to post Paroniod by Black Sabboth.

Finished with my woman 'cause she couldn't help me with my mind
People think I'm insane because I am frowning all the time
All day long I think of things but nothing seems to satisfy
Think I'll lose my mind if I don't find something to pacify
Can you help me occupy my brain?
Oh yeah
I need someone to show me the things in life that I can't find
I can't see the things that make true happiness, I must be blind
Make a joke and I will sigh and you will laugh and I will cry
Happiness I cannot feel and love to me is so unreal
And so as you hear these words telling you now of my state
I tell you to enjoy life I wish I could but it's too late

When I am happy, this song:

"Let me go" by CAKE

When she walks she swings her arms, instead of her hips
When she talks she moves her mouth, instead of her lips
I've waited for her for so long
I've waited for her for so long
I've wondered if i could hang on
I've wondered if i could hang on

"Let me go," she said
"Let me go," she said
Let me go and I will want you more
Let me go, let me go
Let me go and I will want you

When she wants
She wants the sun instead of the moon
When she sees
She sees the stars inside of her room
I've waited for her for so long
I've waited for her for so long
I've wondered if I could hang on
I've wondered if I could hang on

Yeah)
(Sing a song, brother)
If the sun refused to shine,
I don't mind, I don't mind.
(Yeah)
If the mountains fell in the sea,
Let it be, it ain't me.
Got my own world to live through
And I ain't gonna copy you.

Now, if 6 turned up to be 9,
I don't mind, I don't mind.
If all the hippies cut off their hair,
I don't care, I don't care.
Did, 'cos I got my own world to live through
And I ain't gonna copy you.

White-collar conservatives flashing down the street
Pointing their plastic finger at me.
They're hoping soon my kind will drop and die,
But I'm gonna wave my freak flag high . . . HIGH!

Hah, hah
Falling mountains just don't fall on me
Point on mister Buisnessman,
You can't dress like me.
Nobody know what I'm talking about
I've got my own life to live
I'm the one that's gonna have to die
When it's time for me to die
So let me live my life the way I want to.

Yeah . . .
Sing on brother,

i know no one will listen because this is a rush of everyone posting their auditions with disregard to all other posts but someone may listen.

i am polishing off my own rendition of it

If you want it, you can have it
But you've got to learn to reach out there and grab it

'Cause everybody wants some love
Shooting from the stars above
And though my heart will break
There's more that I could take
I could never get enough

If you need it, you should show it
'Cause you might play so monastic that you blow it

'Cause everybody wants some hope
Something they can barely know
And though my heart will break
There's more that I could take
I could never let it go

It's in the photograph
It's in the photograph
It's in the photograph of love

'Cause everybody wants a dream
Something they can barely see
And though my heart will break
There's more that I could take
I could never let it be

It's in the photograph
It's in the photograph
It's in the photograph of love

If you blew it, don't reject it
Just sit drawing up the plans and re-erect it
Just sit drawing up the plans and re-erect it
Just sit drawing up the plans and re-erect it

That's Photograph, by Weezer. I know it's not about Aspergers at all, but the song sticks with me, and I think I can relate with it. I COULD put a Linkin Park song here, but they're too heavy going and I think they're too negative, so I chose this song.
