I understand opera as an art form, I appreciate the amount of talent that goes into singing opera, but I hate it!

I agree. Rap is absolute garbage unless its for comedic purposes.. grunge type vocals/heavy metal/death metal (or any rock where the vocalist just screams unintelligibly while the drummer's anal dildo goes to max power as to drown the wailing banshee at the microphone...) .. and the corny country songs (yes kenny rodgers this means YOU). Horrible stuff.

I can't stand what my family calls "kill wh***y" rap. I think it only generates more hate in an already angry world. Every time I hear the music I feel the need to go up to the first person of color I see and say, "I'm wh***y, and I apologize," even though part of my family were poor ranchers who had never seen a black person, and the other part were still in Canada and Britain.
I also do not like most pop music and most modern music in general. As a general rule, if I listen to it, and it's modern, it is by a band that is not from the US.

The only music genre I can't stand is heavy/black metal. All the screaming hurts my head...

I really dislike most music made since 1990. I appreciate some of the musicianship that occasionally goes into the various genres I dislike, where applicable, which is infrequent at best

rap, and reggaeton

For those of you in the US, reggaeton is a mix of reggae, rap, and hispanic music. It was created right here in Panama, and it is offensive toward everything that has two legs, when it comes
to being obscene, vulgar, and idiotic. The music usually has a single beat, and there are rarely ballads.

Pretty much just rap and country. I think that rap is good in theory, but since all they sing about is drugs and sex, I don't like it.

I like most genres, but some only when they aren't in English, like pop, or reggae/ska, hip-hop, a few more. :wink:
