Beethoven's 9th Symphony, 3rd movement by Christopher Hogsworth and the Academy of Ancient Music. (Actually the 3rd is my least favorite movement. I love the 2nd and the 4th, but it's the 3rd that is playing right now. Of course now it got to a really good part... The 3rd at its worst is still pretty darned good.)
I really like this version because it has rougher edges than the more modern style of performance. Anyway, I think the 9th symphony is one of the best pieces of music ever written. It has passion and bombast and serene beauty and is best played at a volume of 11.
