i know, right? :) it's visible that not only she's very good at dancing, but also that she really likes to dance, and that's why it's so satisfying to watch her videos. she has another channel where she only posts relaxing videos, she's very good at it too

i've noticed that asmr seems to be particularly popular in korea btw, judging by the number of channels i've seen lately. sometimes i like to watch videos by korean youtubers, because there are some pretty good videos out there, but also specifically because i can't understand a single word . it makes it easier to listen to it without paying too much attention to it at the same time

Blackpink finally debuted yesterday. Pretty good start. I'll look forward to more from the new YG group.

This is technically J-Pop, as it appeared on the album of m-flo, a Japanese hip hop act; however, the group's emcee Verbal is an ethnic Korean born and raised in Japan, while the featured guest vocalist Wheesung is one of the most popular Korean R&B singers of the 2000s... so it is kinda Korean (it's sung in Korean and English). I just love the beat as well, which is courtesy of DJ Taku:

Here's Wheesung solo:

And my favourite Korean song by Boa-nuna:

I didn't know that she's lived on Earth until you posted here. And the reason why some Koreans so much love her, I guess, is that she's damn cute..seriously..look at her.. I used to do the same thing when I was in the early stages of learning English.

It's my first time to hear the three songs above and I found they're all really really good. As a matter of fact, it's only been less than one year that I have had interests in K-pop since I first listened to Murihiku's post. Boa's voice is really awesome. She sounds really really good!! So you call her nuna(누나)? which means "older sister" in Korean..that's so cute..

I'm glad you liked the songs, Drawyer. I had to look up nuna a while ago, I saw a lot of people on the internet referring to Boa and Hyori and other singers as 'unnie', but then I learned that you can only use that if you're a girl/woman, so I thought that was interesting. I hope I used it correctly though! Boa is 3 months older than I am.

I think I first started listening to her in 2009, a poster on another forum was linking Japanese pop songs in a music thread, and one of her favourite singers was Boa (who was releasing a lot of songs in Japanese at the time). So I checked out Boa's songs, and really liked them. I also think she's a really cool person, a great dancer, she's nice to fans, and she has a neat fashion style. Too bad she hasn't made all that many Korean albums apparently.

I approve that you use 'nuna' correctly lol, 3 months are more than enough?!..well..lol...that's so cute for you to call her nuna!

I think after watching K-pop and Korean TV for a while, you inevitably end up learning the words oppa, unnie, hyung and noona. And sarang haeyo. ;) It took me a while to remember which one was which, but you get it eventually.

...

A couple of recent videos:

VIXX - "Fantasy": I like this one. It reminds me of my piano lessons when I was a kid :P ...

EXO - "Lotto": Not really my style, but I appreciate that they're trying something new.
Nice dancing though, as always ...

You play piano? I didn't know that. And moon light sonata is one of my favorites.

I think I like the song but don't like music video. So I tried to find dance version but I can't. I only found this one.
