The Brothers Karamazov ,I read it when I was twelve but I'll have a better understanding now that I've got a lot of life experience.

"A Princess of Mars" I've been having trouble reading much of anything lately so I figured I'd read some pure pulp. It's quite entertaining.

"The Island of Dr. Moreau" - For some reason, I seem to enjoy reading books that I can download for free more than the ones I have to pay for.

Packing for Mars by Mary Roach. Really interesting. The best book I've read recently is Barbara Demick's Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea.

A Perfect Spy by John Le Carré, I just finished Zero Degrees of Empathy by Simon Baron-Cohen. I usually don't read fiction; but Le Carré is an excellent author - and in addition to that, he's an ex-spy himself - who describes the scenes in his works very accurately.

i'm lucky in that i can rip audiobooks from my nearby local library for free. because of that i have lots of them on my harddrive. i need audiobooks because reading normal printed text novels doesn't really work for me. whereas audiobooks make me relax and feel real and grounded and integrated and happy.

right now i listen to Narcissus and Goldmund (Hesse), Secret life of bees (Monk-Kidd), Neverending story (Ende), Life and times of the thunderbolt kid (Bryson), A Prisoner of Birth (Archer). i alternate as my mood dictates.
