WOODS OF YPRES - Woods 5: Grey Skies and Electric Light

After listening to the first 3 WOY albums (haven't had a chance to check out 4) I see that the black metal influences are all but gone. "Pursuit of the Sun & Allure of the Earth" is still my personal favourite but a lot of songs on this have a certain enjoyability anyways.
My favourite track, "Kiss My Ashes (Goodbye)" even has a sort of Type O Negative vibe which is never a bad thing.

I reckon that people who like Katatonia's "Brave Murder Day" might enjoy this as well as it has a doomish almost post-metal feel to it at times.
