Here it is again, still tinkering...

Another giant. That last one was called Disease. This one is fairly obvious as is the flower.

And because this is the first time I've done this anywhere, one last one, Conception:

Oh woooow!! Those are amazing! Do you have the large version of diseased? I wanna have that as my Desktop Wallpaper!

Dunno, it looks the same to me as when I posted it bigger.

irishwhistle, I love your colors!! ! And I loved the little hatchlings around the root of the tree...

These are my characters that I've been keeping in my mind for almost ten years now...They belong to a fantasy novel that I've been planning to write... I'm sharing them because I think it is interesting the way the characters grew up with me... They are based on a group of friends that I used to hang out with...we called ourselves 'the aliens'....
These works are also related to my manga-artist-wannabe phase..

I feel inspired by people...actually, I am inspired by the people on WP as well, and although I've never met you guys, I have dreams related to the impressions I get when I'm hanging out here...and I do some sketches as well...When I made up these characters, each character matched up more specifically to the person it was inspired by...also the relationships between the characters mirrored the real life ones...but I guess now, I've become less specific...

I hope the nudity is OK...(I like drawing nude, but I need to do more in depth study on the human anatomy...) Although I don't think they're good enough to be problematic, let me know if it's a problem...

And some more sketches I'd like to share...

This is one of the sketches I did of Anna Karenina while reading the novel...I had been totally obsessed with Anna Karenina and tried to collect every version of its film...I have to say I liked the version with Sophie Marceau best because they showed accurate understanding of depression...and depicted it in a convincing way....although it copied many elements from the Russian version...I liked the Russian version as well...but I feel that all the previous versions to the version starring Sophie Marceau fail to grasp the nature of depression...




And this is a sketch of one of my cats...the photogenic one...

Those sketches are beautiful sunny! (although I prefer my characters to have clothes on, but oh well).

My characters are based on those around me too, although it's a bit harder as 70% of them are aliens!

I like these images alot!! You have a very impressive world of your own...Encountering your world through viewing your works is like...(if my heart was a harp)...being strummed on my inner chords...

Kipo seems like a lovely character!! !! Your characters are special...I enjoy looking at them...



There seems to be a lot of love between Koise and Clarrissa...They are a sweet couple...



But sometimes they may pout...What are they pouting over in this picture?
