Great!
It's something different to what we do, in contrast to us all you have got something that works out, that people will buy
must be a great feeling to live from the money your own creations brought you.
Oh, furniture can be very arty! A sofa can be something to sit on but can also be an ornament! Just consider the beautiful baroque style! Wouldn't it be still beautiful today? An artist should never say he or she is limited! A master piece doesn't differ from the standard in aspects that make it useful. The difference between a masterpiece and an everyday piece is in the aspects which aren't really necessary! Not even beauty itself is necessary. But it's the only difference!
Truly. This is one thing I make and generally I sell about 3 million dollars per year of this product. I work from my house, in my pajamas if I want to
I have to go to court a lot because my designs are popular and people try to take them often. This has been exhausting in some ways. I don't like being angry, it's very unnatural for me and in truth, I can't blame them for trying to take what works in business, at the same time I am not letting them get away with it...lol The fact that I don't like to exist solely on this low plane of consciousness ( material) is what has been hard about it. There is the ideal and then there is the material, it's kind of like a train wreck.
You are so right about baroque style etc and your view on what makes a masterpiece. The same can be said about any mode of expression. You can write a song that just says " They met and fell in love" the end. lol Or you can give it accentuating elements.
