Sunnycat, I know what you mean :)
Some of my favourite pieces to create are those that required long, "tedious" repetition of linework.
You sort of sink into a somnambulistic state, and hours can pass.
I have one tiny sketchbook that I work in that I call my "meditation book" for just that reason.

Your painting is very interesting Max_David...It is rich with symbols, figures and colors... It has a mysterious air...It sort of reminds me of the ancient cave arts...
