a small bootleg excerpts compilation i mastered carefully (some NR, some compression, some reverb, some hard limiting, normalization, EQ)
A Solo From Marseille (1974 live, clear, taken from a noisy radio broadcast, NR and EQ) - Zappa
The Road To Babylon (1976 live, excellent sound, taken from a superior source compared to the common grey-area disc even credible retailers stock which sounds very compressed and distorted, i had confirmed is not an official release by an insider, some EQ IIRC, some limiting, some reverb) - Manfred Mann's Earth Band
Sharleena (1984 live, excellent quality, some reverb and compression, great solo) - Zappa
In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited (Cologne 1974, EQ, careful NR and limiting, noise samples come from silent spots of the show) - Queen
God Save The Queen Outro Music (Cologne 1974, see above) - Queen
In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited (Rainbow 1974 with 1974-1975 overdubs, taken from a 35mm print of the original cinematic cut of aforementioned show, i mastered this a few months before the official release, rough sound on here, audible NR artifacts are present, but sadly preferable, believe me, heavy EQ and possibly some limiting, original transfer looked great but sounded horrid, it had some weird distortion i managed to tame a bit too. I also used only one channel due to the mix being in mono and the transfer being in stereo, which couldn't have helped)
Sharleena (1988 live, excellent quality, some reverb, EQ and compression, to make it sound more in line with the official mixes of the tour, this i am really proud of. i carefully adjusted the entire frequency spectrum to improve the clarity of this TV-broadcast of one of the last shows, great solo)
