The nomadic, pastoral uZosis have long been a thorn in Keshta's side, habitually raiding its desert frontiers. Originally divided into numerous warring clans, the uZosis have recently begun organizing into one larger nation which poses a worsening threat to Keshtan hegemony.

As you might guess from the name and outfit, the uZosis have a vaguely Zulu inspirational source.

Let's see if this video slideshow works. I've never done this before.
This is a try out with no fancy bits, like transitions or titles.
These are some of my paintings not yet see here.

Very nice. The amount of time on each painting is good, but maybe if there was a couple seconds more each?
I like so very much your style and feel of the brush. Wonderful work!

Thanks for the comment mntn.

Here's one of my earliest efforts, a Porshe 911. Gouache on watercolour paper. As you can see I wasn't very good at drawing the wheels. Getting an elipse in perspective is not easy.

I reckon being able to draw is the most important skill for a portrait painter. So I copied this Leonardo for practise.

Hey Brandon, you certainly have a gift. How about you doing a picture of the beautiful Nefertiti, Egyptian queen.

I'll definitely take on that!

Physicists experimenting with trans-universal travel have discovered a parallel world where dinosaurs like those of our own planet's prehistory still roam. Although this "Otherworld" has since been colonized by Terrans fleeing an ecologically devastated Earth, it was already home to an indigenous race of human beings collectively called the Otherworlders. Otherworlders are characterized by jet-black skin and yellow eyes but are reproductively compatible with Terrans. Relations between Otherworlders and Terrans vary depending on Terran colonial policy, with some colonies maintaining peace with the natives while others prefer to exploit or even exterminate them.

A copy from the master. Maybe I could have used a newer, better quality brush with a fine linen canvas for better results.

A male Parasaurolophus walkeri takes a stroll around the savanna.

In the past I would base my prehistoric savanna landscapes off Africa, with acacias being the dominant trees. However, having recently seen photos of palm savannas in South America I must say that the palm trees give them a much more "tropical" or "prehistoric" vibe than your stereotypical African savannas. Therefore I thought a palm savanna would work great as a dinosaur's backdrop. The fan palm fronds were time-consuming to draw however.

I don't usually draw hadrosaurs or other ornithopods, as I tend to gravitate towards the fiercer and more majestic dinosaurs, but it's always good to try something different once in a while.

Thanks again slave. You want to know my approach to painting? I'll see what I can do. Mostly people don't want to know. Maybe its too difficult, maybe thase all NTs.

Brandon, keep going.

Sketch of Edward (Edward Scissorhands), Lisbeth (Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) and a humanized Fluttershy (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic). I plan on outlining and coloring it in Paint Tool SAI. I hid Edward's scissor-hands for this pic because I didn't feel like drawing them today.

I used this as a reference: [click]

Image

The explanation for this pic:
Simply put, this polyamorous relationship is part of my imaginary world (technically one imaginary world of many that are parallel universes). I like Lisbeth and Edward together because I've always thought that she looks like a female version of him, while I like Edward and humanized Fluttershy together because they have similar personalities. Of course there's some chemistry between Lisbeth and Fluttershy going on too, since they're sharing Edward and all. They don't have much in common, but I bet Lisbeth would protect Fluttershy from bullies. Believe it or not, there's actually a 4th character involved in this imaginary relationship also, but I just felt like drawing Edward/Lisbeth/Fluttershy for now.
