I've just finished a book by Xiaolu Guo, which was humorous. 20 Fragments Of Ravenous Youth. Not exactlynravenouse by our standards though. Now I have been trying to plow through her novel I am China. However, so much of Chinese writing is far to sad for me. So why do I (hides face) enjoy David Baldacci writing about so many people getting killed? I'm reading one of his novels now. I used to enjoy academic books, but I'm a bit too old for that these days. One difficult book I am trying is called Clarity by Jamie Smart. It is a self help book. Does abstract thinking atrophe with age?

I am reading three books. The Hobbit Out of the Ordinary: True Tales of Everyday Craziness by Jon Ronson The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christtie
I started the Hobbit a year before the movie was released. I thought it would be novel to read the book first. I am a very, very slow reader. I only mention this for your amusement since I've seen all three films, and bought the discs, and I have yet to get half way through the book.
