A male Parasaurolophus walkeri takes a stroll around the savanna.

In the past I would base my prehistoric savanna landscapes off Africa, with acacias being the dominant trees. However, having recently seen photos of palm savannas in South America I must say that the palm trees give them a much more "tropical" or "prehistoric" vibe than your stereotypical African savannas. Therefore I thought a palm savanna would work great as a dinosaur's backdrop. The fan palm fronds were time-consuming to draw however.

I don't usually draw hadrosaurs or other ornithopods, as I tend to gravitate towards the fiercer and more majestic dinosaurs, but it's always good to try something different once in a while.

Very nice.

Sketch of Edward (Edward Scissorhands), Lisbeth (Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) and a humanized Fluttershy (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic). I plan on outlining and coloring it in Paint Tool SAI. I hid Edward's scissor-hands for this pic because I didn't feel like drawing them today.

I used this as a reference: [click]

The explanation for this pic:
Simply put, this polyamorous relationship is part of my imaginary world (technically one imaginary world of many that are parallel universes). I like Lisbeth and Edward together because I've always thought that she looks like a female version of him, while I like Edward and humanized Fluttershy together because they have similar personalities. Of course there's some chemistry between Lisbeth and Fluttershy going on too, since they're sharing Edward and all. They don't have much in common, but I bet Lisbeth would protect Fluttershy from bullies. Believe it or not, there's actually a 4th character involved in this imaginary relationship also, but I just felt like drawing Edward/Lisbeth/Fluttershy for now.

I can't wait to see the finished product. :)

I was on Waterloo Steps overlooking St James Park in London. It is a beautiful, sunny day. I saw an alcholic sitting on the steps when this image dropped into my mind. Its easy to get into but very hard to get out.

the previous posts put me to shame, and grebels is a very gifted artist, and i am not a gifted artist but i will still contribute.

i have posted this before and i need to make some new ones, but it it was ignored the last time i posted it and it was about a year ago i posted it so here it is again.
the design and song are mine and i think it is well done, but i am in my own world and maybe i am exaggeratively congratulatory about this clip. i like it.

I met this man when he was giving a talk at the local library. You'll probably notice his face has taken a battering from boxing. He really hated this portrait, but his wife laughed and said thats him alright. He has quite a story.

He'd be happy to hear that said Shrox. This man has written two book about his life. He was an illegitimate child in Ireland. In those days such things just could not happen, so he was sent to a so called children's home. Many of the babies died due to lack of care. They simply were an embarassment to be put out of the way and forgotten about. He came to England as a young man and decided to make a life for himself.

I actually just started a webcomic called "Press 'Y' for Context" if you guys want to check it out. Essentially, it's three guys with Asperger's who live in a townhouse in North Hollywood, but them having Asperger's is definitely not the "whole point" of the comic. It's mostly just random silliness, though some of the comedy does and will come from social awkwardness, most of which is based on my real life.

The tagline is: A comic about nerds, social issues, politics, gaming, technology, science, math, and homicidal robots.

Here's the first strip. I'm not sure why it's being squished like that, but it displays properly on the main site.

Yeah. It's going to be a ton of fun. Check it out.

One of the few drawings I have made without a reference.

I must warn you, I am a former weeaboo. Also I'm obsessed with Dr. Seuss at the moment. It may explain the top left image.

A new Challenge has been added about Drawing!

Yes, it is the "Challenge: Draw a One of My Fictional Races" one!
Note: the challenge has a link that you can find on one of the other posts. It will lead to another one of my threads called" Races of My Fiction."

So sharpen your pencils, get out your paint kit, or warm up photoshop/ MS paint! It is time to draw!

@ Lenny
As far as anime stuff goes, yours is quite good!

Femme Fatale

I'm not normally into gangster movies (I tried watching Scarface once and ended up bored until the climactic ending), but I imagine this particular chick as being some Mafia boss's girlfriend. Think of her as seductive and wily yet lethal.

Here is my first drawing I will put on the site. I hope it doesn't look to bad and not to sketchy. Have a laugh:

You have to upload it to a photo hosting site like photobucket then post a link to it.
