TECHNICALLY, I'm listening to the sweet sounds of silence.

But the intro to "The Diary Of Jane" by Breaking Benjamin keeps playing in my head. So that's what I'm listening to.

"Ein deutsches Requiem" by Johannes Brahms. Really beautiful piece of music.

The Clash - This Is England (2nd play in a row)
one of my current musical persevations.

Really should be as well known as Rock The Cashbah etc.

Joe Strummer - Pouring Rain (unreleased)
was listening to the Clash version yesterday (they never recorded it - only performed live during the last years of the band, after the sacking of Mick Jones)
amazing how he managed to transform (with almost identical lyrics)
an anthem of the bleakness of early 80's Thatcherite Britain into something hopefull and optimistic (while still being aplicable to the rescisson of 91/92.)
