Here's a quick watercolour sketch I did the other day whilst procrastinating:).

That's a very nice image. I was never able to get the hang of water colors but it has been a long time since I made the attempt.

Here's the link to the tutorial I used for my text image: http://psdlearning.com/2008/09/spray-paint-text/

Same here, but your coloring and shading skills are better.

I don't think I've posted this picture in this thread yet. I made this a little less than a month ago. It took me several days working on and off on it, and I sadly don't have a tablet.

I just drew this. The gryphon on the right is my reaction every time I see a spectacularly drawn wing.
[AAH! I forgot to draw the right arm! Oh well, it shall be edited!]

A few weeks ago, I was passing a bit of time by cutting a design into the end of a heavy steel rod, with the intention of using it for wax seals and homemade coins. As evidenced by the picture, I was not patient enough (and my tools not good enough) to cut the design very deep, so I quit.

This picture is the result of scanning the die directly, and adding a yellow hue. This is what a gold coin struck with my homemade die would look like. All the scuff marks were there to begin with, I just cut the design into the steel as it was.

Someday, I'd like to get proper engraving tools and cut coin dies as a hobby (among a million other things I want to do...)

I've been re-outling Sekhmetka's story for the hundredth time, and while she was originally going to be a solitary fighter, I've now decided to give her a couple of sisters to join her in battle. Collectively they're called the Three Cobras in honor of their uraei (cobra head-rings).

At the time I drew this, I didn't have a clear idea of these characters' personalities, but currently I imagine Sekhy to be the intelligent leader, Kazingi to be strong but soft-hearted, and Neferwe as a hot-headed party chick (think Raphael and Michelangelo mixed together).

I actually have considered making a cartoon series with these characters. It would be similar in spirit to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and other superhero team cartoons.

I did a few pen sketches in the car today. This is the first of them. The other three are all of a different element and can be found in the Faeries folder of my deviantart gallery.

Click for Faeries folder!!

The world of Mesolithica is so named because its native humans are at a "Mesolithic" level of technological development; that is to say, while they have settled down and constructed permanent villages, they still subsist on hunting and gathering rather than agriculture. Nonetheless, many of the peoples have organized themselves into extensive chiefdoms with "civilized" trappings such as social stratification and sometimes even monumental architecture comparable with Earth's Gobekli Tepe.

As you might guess, Mesolithica's geography and to a lesser extent regional names were heavily influenced by Robert E. Howard's Hyborian Age (the setting of the Conan the Barbarian stories). Most of those regional names which weren't copied from him have mythological or historical sources (for instance, Aaru was the name of the Egyptian idea of heaven).
