This is a bit of a departure for me. Other than single objects my drawings are usually pretty abstract but I really wanted to work on this piece after driving home one evening. I loved the play of color in the sky. It still does not have the subtle majesty of the real thing. I could not get all I saw in my head on paper. But I still think its lovely. The mediums where soft pastels and charcoal.

^^ Ah - they were each on an https URL: the "img" BBCode tag implementation is somewhat fragile and that's enough to break it.
I replaced the https with http in your post, hoping the images would still be reachable, and then added the "img" tags.
Turns out they are!

And the lineart for your deviantART muro drawing looks so neat (and nice of course ) . I heard that it takes while for people to get used to drawing neatly with a tablet.

Haha thank you very much! I never expected the pleasure that my illustration is appreciated by the author herself! Your story is very well-written. I really like the poignant feeling in the story, the way you narrate this heartwarming hopelessness from a mechanized post-human on a snowy, empty wasteland. I am always inspired by emotional/ depressing subject matter. In fact I had this image stuck in my mind when I firstly read your story last year, but it is not until recently that I manage to get around to make it:) I was thinking of posting it on the SCP forum, but sadly I am not a member.
