I am currently reading a Pelican version of The Tempest by William Shakespeare. I am really taking my time reading this one so I can look at what certain words mean and truly get a good understanding of the play and the character. I am probably going to scan it for practice when I am done.

I'm reading probably six different books, and I am not able to track with any of them, which is always a bad sign. When I can't concentrate on anything more involved than a WP post, that means my anxiety is bad right now :|

This could be fourth book in a short space of time. Right.. so Victoria Hislop is holding my attention with The Thread. It demonstrates underlying tensions in Europe, or what was then individual empires creating First World War blunder and enduring actual sacrifice. Also at this time, I had been reading another Susan Sallis book, after the initial one which when into evacuation and friendships tested, many characters etc, and this one seems more less fanatical and follows an individual woman through her life, is all I know so far.

Just finished Jess Walter's "Ruby Ridge: The Truth and Tragedy of the Randy Weaver Famlily". About to get started on Philip K. Dick's "The Man in the High Castle".

Looking Backward, by Edward Bellamy.

It's somewhat as if Gene Roddenberry of Star Trek fame had written a love story...living in 1887. That takes place in the year 2000. The copy I was able to get a hold of was printed in 1927, so the idea of a post-capitalism utopia still seemed feasible by the end of the century, as shown by the intro & forward.

Andy Warhol Was A Hoarder: Inside The Minds Of History's Great Personalities

I started reading this earlier today and it has been an interesting read so far. Centered around various historical figures from Albert Einstein to Abraham Lincoln, this book is about mental health issues the subjects may have had in their lives.

Marilyn Monroe may have had Borderline Personality Disorder, given that as a child, she had no one for emotional support. Howard Hughes had OCD, given that his obsessions with germs and cleanliness were his downfall.
