A West African princess goes for a stroll on her palace's ramparts. The architecture displayed here has a medieval Malian inspiration; I felt like doing a different African culture than my usual Egyptians and Nubians.

I just re-activated my Etsy account. The pictures aren't the best, but if you click on them, they will enlarge for more detail. I have dozens more that I still need to take the time to scan and upload... Here's the link:

Something went awry in the process of uploading and editing the picture. A lot of the pink I airbrushed onto the picture faded, so I just added a pink hue to compensate for it.

It's just a doodle, so it looks quite messy though.

You know what? Screw you, people who don't think my request is interesting. Screw. You.

A couple of Neanderthals in Late Pleistocene Europe gazes with curiosity at the Cro-Magnon village which has recently popped up in their country. I'm not too happy with how the grass turned out (anyone know of a good technique for rendering grass?), but if nothing else it was another opportunity to practice drawing backgrounds.

Sorry if I don't answer your question correctly, but I guess I would use acrylic paint with a fan brush.

Thanks for trying to help, but since I work with pencils the technique you recommend probably won't apply.

One of my newer pieces. I really like how this bird came out. It combined three elements I use a lot which is a blending of coloring lines curves and a pseudo phetal shape that comprises the body of the bird.

Sekhmetka, an Egyptian special ops agent from an alternative timeline, steals through the tropical rainforests of the Congo Basin in Central Africa. What she's doing there, I don't know yet, so I'll leave it to your imagination for the moment.

This is getting ridiculous now: I posted a perfectly awesome request of a dwarf killing a goblin with his own leg, and there has been nothing of it? And I'm not asking anyone in particular to do it.

Fine, I'll say this: Now may people please draw a picture of a dwarf killing a goblin with his own leg?

Better?

Sorry, I can't draw humans or human-like creatures...
