I love music (classical and jazz, too) but these are the ones I seem to play over and over again.
I know what you mean about Yes and the other prog rock bands there.
Something about prog rock just seems to suit my mind so well, just listening to it is enough of a stim when I feel stressed. Particularly Yes, I can just lose myself in the different passages of their music.
There seem to be certain aspects of music that just appeal to my Aspie-ness, I can't quite describe it but it's something to do with the sound of the songs. "Spirit of the Radio" by Rush, "Special Needs" by Placebo, "Precious" by Depeche Mode and "And You And I" by Yes all have this sound in common to me, I'm still not sure what it is about them but if you listen to them you might see what I mean.
