Jonny greenwood's film scores are beautiful, also, the music for shutter island is amazing. A lot of john cage and penderecki sort of stuff

The Pearl Harbor's score are brilliant , it makes me peace when I heared in the night.

I LOVE everything by Clint Mansell (and previously loved Pop Will Eat Itself so there's some brand loyalty); he does the scores for Darren Aronofsky. Pi, Requiem For a Dream and The Fountain are super good. He did Moon too. Oh, he did Lux Aeterna, one of the most famous film bits of recent years. He's almost certainly been mentioned ITT already, I haven't checked.

You said in another thread that you can't stand electronic music, that it makes you sick. Clearly you just haven't heard enough of it. I would guess that would be true of anyone who says they hate electronic music. The Moon and Pi ones are electronic too, check them out.
