Pretty cool to see so many younger folks are into System of a Down at all. I remember when Toxicity came out I was in high school, and it pretty much blew our minds.

Toxicity is a great album.

Toxicity was the first album I bought, though I only bought it like a year or two ago.

That's quite a mix you have there :P I have never seen anyone listing 1D and RHCP together

Oh yeah, NIN, I should have listed them as well. Anyway, this guy isn't a band and he certainly isn't well known or even signed, but I like him, and if you NIN you might like him as well.

This is pretty good :D

He has one full album out if you want more, as well as several EPs and singles. I think most of those are pony related, but E.S.C.A.P.E, the album, isn't. It's just more Industrial Rock like this.

I like this song in particular off the new Bring Me the Horizon album
The whole album's rather different to their previous ones
Changing styles was a good move :P

This isn't what I expected. It reminds of the current indie rock trend, only metal. I like it, at least for the most part. I'm sort of low on money in my funds for albums at the moment, but I'll think about this.

It's also sort of reminiscent of Post-Metal.

There is a bunch of other bands mentioned in the comments section.

Everyone's like "What??? I used to hate BMTH, but this is good!" lol. Wise decision to change, well played BMTH.

Nice song, I like how distant the vocals are, it's almost in the background. The guitar makes it sound kinda like doom metal, I like that.

Also from the new BMTH album.

Mostly I listen to metal bands (though I do like some classic rock now and then, and the occasional indie act :o). Bands I have put in italic are ones I listen to frequently. :)

Amaranthe
Black Sabbath
Candlemass
Deep Purple
The Devin Townsend Project
Dio
Gamma Ray
Gotye
Hammerfall
Helloween
Iron Maiden
Kamelot
Megadeth
New Radicals
Pantera
Queen
Rainbow
Rhapsody (Of Fire)
Savatage
Saxon
Sister Sin
Stratovarius
Tool (sort of starting to get into their stuff)
The Who
ZZ Top

Comparing this list to the other ones I've seen makes mine seem real small, heheh. :P

Other stuff I listen to, which I missed out last time:

Kate Bush
Ian Dury and the Blockheads
Desperate Bicycles

The Mountain Goats are pretty much the only constant in the past few years.

Bands that I've been listening to recently:
The Birthday Party
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Darkthrone

Bands that phase in and out depending on my mood:
Ween
Death
Van Der Graaf Generator
Marillion
King Crimson
