I'll repeat what I put in the Autism themed songs because this is the best I have heard.

Loving the whole new Froot Album

A female fronted band list is incomplete without Natalie Merchant

I came to this thread to post Tat, but @RoadRatt beat me to it lol

An awesome band that never got the recognition they deserve because punk's dead :( I don't think they're together anymore, but Tatiana's still doing her own thing, sometimes under "Tatiana DeMaria" and sometimes under "Tat"

Her vocal, guitar, and songwriting style has been compared to Joan Jett, Joe Strummer, and Billie Joe Armstrong, and I can hear all of that.

Orianthi's good too, an incredible guitarist!

^From the bands Wiki two members have left for other projects but Tatiana is still writing new songs for a second cd. So hopefully we'll get some new music from them in the near future. Tatiana has a very unique voice that deserves to be heard! :)

Toe tapping music.

In the rock to medium metal (yeah, not quite heavy metal) category, I like Within Temptation, Halestorm, Paramore (less so the more recent stuff), Tonight Alive, some Scandi/wegian bands like Sirenia and Nightwish, Evanescence (more so in my teen years), a little bit of Epica. Some people might judge me, but the music of The Pretty Reckless. We Are The In Crowd. Lacuna Coil.

There are a few small bands I've seen at gigs like Anavae (now getting more radio air time).

There are certainly more I can't think of now, but that's just sticking to bands. I could list more individuals/artists.
