I would like to revive this thread.

There are quite a few of us crafty people.

I am into crochet at present and will post a pic when I finish my current project - cushion cover.

There are others on here I know of and knitters and all sorts of talented people with crafting skills.

Come on, lets keep this marvellous thread going.

I’ve had several projects on the go, for a few years now, and just can’t seem to finish them. :( I’ve had a cross-stitch canvas on the frame with only a few stitches left. It’s been there for years now! I gathered together all sorts of new projects to do when I retired but haven’t started them either! I would like to try lace-making. I can tatt but not crochet.

Major problem with executive functioning?!

Yeah, I get so far and want to jump to something else. I also get delayed by trying to pick a colour - choosing is not my best skill in life.

I did manage to finish my cushion last night. I also had to try to relearn how to get the pic on my laptop.

Perhaps we can give some support if others want it.

I love to see pics of peoples projects so I will post mine now - perhaps it could inspire some movement.

My screen name is so ironic LOL

I'm only "crafty" in the sense of being "clever."

I can't "craft" worth a darn......

Anyway....enough about me!

This will be a great thread.

I cannot see any posts after 2014 - why have they disappeared?

Or is it just me?

I am hoping another post will correct it Mr Kraftie.

I wish I was so Krafty that I could find the cause of that LOL

Is gardening considered a "craft"?

Why not?

You literally start with nothing but earth and a seed.

Can be very arty.

That's true :)

I hardly have gardened in my life. Though I've planted things a few times. My wife is pretty good at that stuff. And she wonders why I'm not good at it.

Posts seem to have been deleted! I had posted what I think was an okay message.

I can't do either of those.

I still have my L plates for crochet too.

Would love to see some of your makings Anne.

That cushion is lovely!
I wish I knew how to crochet :). I knit/sew a little and do other crafty things though :D. I recently made a messy knitted patchwork blanket from small bits of wool I had leftover. :D
