Right now I'm watching David Lynch's Rabbits. It's crazy as hell. It's like it's trying to bore you into doing something else, but it can't because it's so downright enigmatic.

I was going to go see The Reaping tonight but I would feel stupid going to the movies alone and plus I need to save money.

In this last week I have watched:

American Splendor - Funny in places but mostly too negative for my liking. Been wanting to see it for a while.
It's all gone Pete Tong - Very cool idea, fake documentary style, lots of fun.
Adaptation - The one with Nicholas Cage and Orchids. It was a bit off the wall and somehow it didn't do much for me. Won plenty of awards though.
Koyaanisqatsi - A documentary of sorts with no commmentary, just music. Basically created to provoke thought about the advancement of the human race and the impact on the planet.

I also have to put my hand up for Snowcake, it's about a trillion times better than Mozart and the Whale. It was real and not all exaggerated for the sake of the audience.

I watched 1/2 of "Catch Me if You Can" before I was told to return it.

I will watch "K-PAX" and "Hollywoodland."

I have the entire "Qatsi" Trilogy: Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi, and Naqoyqatsi.

Why'd you have to return "Catch Me if You Can?" I didn't really enjoy that movie enough to watch it more than once, although I did enjoy reading the autobiography of the same name. I read that before the movie was made, so I was kind of disappointed with the movie, actually.

I just watched "Volcano" on cable today. Sometimes it is just fun to watch totally lame, implausible movies. I also recently watched "Blades of Glory," "Princess Bride," and enough Law & Order: CI to count as a movie marathon---twelve hours worth.
