I really like Ellie Goulding, her music is almost all I listened to for the last three years.
Recently I started listening to Halsey. Badlands is just an unbelievably good album, and there is something unique about her voice.
That's it really.

What's your favorite album from Ellie? Or song?

Favourite album is probably Halcyon Days, it's hard to pick a favourite song, but some would be Hearts Without Chains, My Blood, Paradise and Little Dreams

Perfidia
[Lyrics by Alberto Domínguez]
Nadie comprende lo que sufro yo [No one knows the pain I suffer]
Tanto que ya no puedo sollozar [So great I cannot even sob]
(alt. lyric- Canto pues ya no puedo sollozar, [Singing as now I can't weep])
Solo temblando de ansiedad estoy [Alone and trembling with desire]
Todos me miran y se van [One look at me and they turn away]
<><><><><><><><><><><>
Mujer, si puedes tú con Dios hablar [Woman, if you can have a word with God]
Pregúntale si yo alguna vez [Ask Him if I have ever once]
Te he dejado de adorar [Ceased loving you]
Y al mar, espejo de mi corazón [And the sea, mirror of my heart]
Las veces que me ha visto llorar [Those times it saw me shed tears at]
La perfidia de tu amor [The perfidy of your love]
Te he buscado por dondequiera que yo voy [I search for you wherever I go]
Y no te puedo hallar [But cannot find you]
Para qué quiero tus besos [What good can come of longing for your kisses]
Si tus labios no me quieren ya besar? [If your lips will not bestow them upon me?]
[alt. lyric- Para qué quiero otros lábios (of what comes from wanting others' lips)
Si tu boca no me quieren ya besar. (If your mouth I don't already want to kiss.)]

Y tú quién sabe por dónde andarás [And you, who know where you are heading]
Quién sabe qué aventura tendrás [Who know what adventures await]
Qué lejos estás de mí [How far away you are from me]

Hi, newbie here...

My favourite genres of music have always been rock, heavy metal, and some electro as well. When the three are combined together, it really hits the spot for me. Linkin Park instantly comes to mind when thinking of this, as well as some of Disturbed's tracks to; although they use electro elements much less frequently.

However my two absolute favourite artists are Klayton (a.k.a Celldweller, Circle of Dust, and Scandroid), and Blue Stahli; both of whom are multi-instrumentalists. Which is just as well really, seeing as they're both one-man bands  (although they have worked together quite a bit, being under the same label FiXT).

So whilst I was signing up on this website, and trying to think of a username, I actually used the title of one of Klayton's new Circle of Dust songs, called "alt_Human". Which given the theme of this site, actually seems rather fitting. Would share the song here but unfortunately, as a new user, I'm not yet able to. Oh well! 8)

I try my best to find something to appreciate about music from every genre, but many of my favorites would be considered classic rock: Beatles, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Doobie Bros, (early) Chicago, Allman Bros, Three Dog Night, CCR

I've been listening to a bunch of jingly shoegaze lately, Galaxie 500 and Ride in particular.

Mostly I'm just impressed by what fine taste we seem to have around here ;)

Any songs or artist you recommend? Glitch Hop is one of my favorite genres.

Metalcore, and some deathcore. There's like one post-hardcore band but I'm reaaallllly picky. Right now my favorite band is Bad Omens. Although it's subject to change, because within the last half year, Bring Me The Horizon, Asking Alexandria, Attila, and Crown The Empire have all been my "favorite" bands. I'll post some examples below
