Haven't heard the first one but I like the other three (although I don't listen to them as much as the other bands I like)

Clannad is an Irish group that Enya used to be a part of, so their style is similar to hers in many ways.
They did the music to an old uk series called Robin Of Sherwood.
I also like Keane and The Rasmus a lot.

I saw them in concert ages ago, when they were supporting Danzig and Nuclear Assualt....damn that would've been 1990 or something? That was back when I still liked metal. Anyhow, they were horrible. Beyond a doubt. Dumbest stage show conceivable too.

Hm. I've heard some of their live music, and its not very good. I never go and see live concerts of bands that I like. I just download and listen. I know next to nothing about the actual people in the band. All I know is that there is a Gen in the band and that they're over-sexed...

I don't really follow pop music too closely, but I guess the pop bands whose stuff I listen to most would be:

Opeth
Pat Metheny Group
Dream Theater
Allan Holdsworth (if you could call him a band - well he does play with one)
Porcupine Tree
OHM
Beautiful South
Stream of Passion (Melodic Metal group with the guy from Ayreon and Lori Linstruth)

I think the rest of the pop music I listen to is just bits and pieces, one song here and there...I have a load of albums but I often only listen to a song or two off each.

Ok folks ... the answer lies here :-

http://www.myspace.com/incubus - give these 4 songs a try !

Incubus are the perfect group - amazing musicians great songs and lyrics .

They play amazing heavy rocky stuff and yet they do loads of melodic / ballads .

Anyone who likes the Chilli Peppers or Foo fighters will LOVE them.

Finally, they are all round good guys and were the first CELEBS to contribute to the Tsunami fund - I seem to remember that they sent around $100,000 a day or so after the event.
They even have a separate special Incubus website solely for raising money for charities -
http://www.makeyourselffoundation.org/

So that's it for my beloved Incubus :)

Their website is http://www.enjoyincubus.com/

Enjoy ! !

Although every band in this thread seems less than Rammstein (no dis), You can't argue the lead singe of Rammstein sounds like This Guy when he reaches his sixties.

Emily Haines and the Soft Skeleton. She's wonderful, and I don't want anyone giving me s**t about her because she's the best singer in the world.
