Let me find my fellow thrash-puppies.
I'm always searching for of bands Ive never heard before, that fit in my (admittedly) one-eyed musical tastes. The primary criteria is energy, manifesting as either blistering pace, insane grunt or deafening distortion. Secondary is variety, syncope, body crushing bass lines and riffs with a barb. I'm looking in particular for stuff local to you. I stumbled across Chixdiggit in Canada, Veruca Salt in the States, I would LOVE to find some recordings of a punkbilly outfit I saw busking in Camden in 81 called "the Klingons."
From the Jam to Sum41, the Damned to the Gimme Gimmes, show me some energy.
I'm starting with a little known Cosmic Psychos video, and that's me..the first person you see.
I'm not sure how well these guys did overseas. They were popular on the pub circuit here. I had such a hard time choosing a track for you I suggest you sample the album. Lime Spiders - Headcleaner
Nice. More of a rock n roll vibe, with the fancy guitar work. Nice melody and groove, and great screaming.

No time to choose todays band as my party is tonight and there's a million things to do. So.. I picked these two bands because Phil Grinder/Phil Grizzly stayed here last night.

Thanks Bee, The party went down mostly as expected, barring a few no shows.... As if being in another country is an excuse. I had a ball, had some surprises, met some fascinating people, got to let some pretty girls learn what it feels like to fire a 4 inch mortar, got smiled at, accepted a heap of oohs and aahs.. I'll compile a video when my neck stops hurting.
I didn't know the Scientists before you posted but coincidentally I was at an event yesterday and a friend of mine got out his cell phone and played a Scientists song for us. He said they were contemporaries and even precursors of the Sex Pistols.

First draft of my party. It'll take a while to assemble the good footage from guests. . https://youtu.be/OGWkKRtVix4]]https://youtu.be/OGWkKRtVix4
