The first post of the thread kind of depressed me. Just the thought of the record collection of "thatrsdude" made me feel down.

I have too many CDs to list. I once created a database to keep track of my CDs, and it took me 3 or 4 days to enter them all. And that was about 5 years ago. It didn't help that my wife used to work for an electronics retailer that sold CDs -- she would often bring home CDs from the listening station that were not in rotation anymore. But I would estimate between 1000 and 1200 CDs. A lot of stuff that I haven't even listened to, such as "Red Hot and Rio" or the A*Teens. Although I probably will listen to them eventually, when I want something new to listen too. I normally listen to a CD even if I am not interested in it just to listen to it.

Major reason I've had the CD like 4 or 5 years and never listened to it.

No matter what taste in music you have you'll always piss someone off. Maybe except Nirvana...

:o How can you not all absolutely LOVE Creed? I just found out that their lyrics are good and now I'm obsessed! As in, more so than usual!

I don't know about CD's, but I have a bit of an odd taste for music: I like Christian praise and worship, contemporary Christian music (half of which you can't tell whether it's liberal Christian or moral secular), and just to top it all off, ROCK! So that gives me a nice mix of Hillsong, Mark Schultz, Casting Crowns, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Metallica, Creed (ROCK ON!), yeah... can't think who else! Oh, and I'm planning on trialing U2 and Coldplay... but at the moment it's Creed all the way!

Refer to my above post just before yours. I could say the same about any artist I like.
