Yes, that's the idea. I wasn't aware of the origin of the pink triangle, but this is exactly what I want, an allusion to that sort of thing.

Chapter 4 done, and new story aspects crystallising.

Chapter 5 done, and a very sordid chapter it was, dealing with some of the most unpleasant aspects of the future I have been writing. I am reminded of the first chapter of Goldfinger, whose title ('Reflections in a Double Bourbon') I have referenced earlier in my novel as a chapter title. I'm finding this is sort of becoming less cyberpunk and more a mix of Ian Fleming and noir, at the moment, albeit with cyberpunk aspects. Still, I have written 10,000 words. If I was writing a novel for the NaNoWriMo, it is a fifth of the way there. We also have the first actual interaction between the two main characters, although this is not for you lot to know.

Chapter 6 finished, and with the book around a quarter finished, I went back and fixed up some of the earlier chapters, changing dialogue and style.

Chapter 7, my longest yet, finished. The game is afoot, and the main two characters are about to meet.

Chapter 8 done.

I've decided that, instead of writing Chapter 9, I'd go back to the previous chapters and pep them up a little. So far, I've done 3 out of the 8 completed chapters.

Stop teasing us and post the first paragraph already
