That's the stuff that's about my speed.
I have a friend who's an 80's buff (ie. The Fix, the Cure, Duran Duran, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, etc.). I think I'd need help on that era... I like some of that stuff as long as it has that sort of emotionally-burnt feel to it, hard to explain what I mean by that but it's one of those elements that I hear in disco house where its a happy sound but it's hardened like it has all the innocence burned right out of it.
