Moral of the story - reaching back into the unfinished archives may not always be a good thing! It takes a certain understanding to sculpt the sound right in the first place, the originals were extremely airy/vaporous.

i have no idea what you are talking about (don't have the lingo yet. i know 'mastering' in your explanation and that's about it lol). sorry about my non-technical jargon, but here's what i notice:
i like the slow buildup to where the song hits a stride somewhere around 0:42, and particularly the sort of pulsing, reflective bridge where the music slowly winds down just past the midpoint, then slides back up and gathers strength. and of course i dig the semi-symmetrical fade out.... totally peaceful.
