You win, Magna. I have tears streaming down my face for George Harrison. That was incredible!

Where / when was that performance? Who is on drums?

Astounded. That's a keeper.

PS I'd love to be a B52 girl.

I'm sorry to say I don't recall the specifics, but I think it was for some George Harrison tribute? Doesn't his son on acoustic guitar look a lot like him?

Chuck E himself.....

That would have been cool to live in L.A. at the time with Rickie Lee Jones, Tom Waits and Chuck E .Weiss.

Yes, I did a double take.

Have you ever seen Wolfgang Van Halen live? He's pretty cool too, in the son department.

*best handle ever* WVH :P

Yes I have. I'm still a purist though. VH was my hands down favorite band from ages 13-14. Michael Anthony was such a critical sound to the signature Van Halen harmony.

I prefer classic VH as well, and they are the band I've seen the most times live. They're absolutely incredible live. I saw the Diver Down tour in the US as one of my first concerts, and nearly fainted that I was breathing the same air as Eddie. Ha.

I need to post this now:

I just remembered an unfortunate detail about the last time I saw them live. It involved one too many Bloody Marys, a ruined pair of shoes, an unfortunate stranger in front of me, and nearly being thrown out. My partner had to convince security I was sick with the flu as the stranger and I were given free merch to change into. OOPS. (This show did feature Wolfgang).

Cool story! Not the sick part, but all the rest of it.

A garage/basement band at its best. The keyboard player and guitarist are married. The only way I found this band was through an unrelated special interest I had: trying and collecting scotch whisky. The keyboardist had a youtube channel called: Whiskybitch in which she did many whisky reviews. I found her reviews to be very informative and entertaining. Although she put out many reviews, she got fed up with it and doesn't do it anymore.
