Sooo much fun. Drove through Death Valley blasting it in a convertible Spyder once. lol. The good old days. I still sleep in my oversized Sex Pistols tshirt.
Wow, my life is so disjointed

I couldn't watch this now given all that's happened between them.
Old friends ~ Memory brushes the same years, Silently sharing the same fears.
I had to. It's.....it's....................
I mean, I could watch this ^ version given their age. But, to have seen it live this week at Simon's last show? Pass the defibrillator, please
S & G Greatest Hits was the first vinyl album I owned when I was four in '72. I was in love with the lyric "Sail on, silver girl" from the radio and eventually named my horse Silvergirl for it. I still have the album with all its scratches and such (plus about four CDs carted off to Uni and played on the trains with my trusted CD headsets (Homeward Bound in particular). Wow.
What a great story, Isabella. I learned the music as a child from my Mom's music as I may have mentioned before. That line in particular swells in a hypnotic mesmerising and evocative way. I can see why you were enthralled with it.

Synaesthesia and flashbacks extraordinaire from my childhood - My dad used to sing this one all the time, with my mother's dad when we were in LA. Neil was always on in the background while they were cooking. (Also September Morn). wow.
What a gorgeous video, too!
