I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me
Love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all of my dreams

Me too, kind of!

I always thought they said "she's giving me head citations" (LMAO) instead of "she's giving me excitations".
Same difference? lol

One of my first memories was “Barbara Ann” on the radio. I knew what they were saying.

Also, at the same time, “Hanky Panky.”

You mean "My Baby Does the Hanky Panky" ? That's a song I randomly sing around the house in an echolalia type of way.

Speaking of babies, I remember being upset by "Light My Fire" by The Doors. "Baby won't you light my fire".... I was jealous that he let his baby (child?) light fires but I was like 8 years old and not allowed to light a match. lol.
