Isabella, can you come out and play?
Thanks, Magna. Bring your toy soldiers!
I was a little girl alone in my little world Who dreamed of a little home for me I played pretend between the trees And fed my house guests bark and leaves And laughed in my pretty bed of green
I had a dream That I could fly from the highest swing I had a dream Long walks in the dark through woods grown behind the park I asked God who I'm supposed to be The stars smiled down on me God answered in silent reverie I said a prayer and fell asleep
I had a dream That I could fly from the highest tree I had a dream Now I'm old and feeling gray I don't know what's left to say about this life I'm willing to leave I lived it full and I lived it well There's many tales I've lived to tell I'm ready now, I'm ready now I'm ready now to fly from the highest wing
Because I had a dream

Every now and then the things I lean on lose their meaning And I find myself careening In places where I should not let me go She has the power to go where no one else can find me Yes and to silently remind me of The happiness and the good times that I know But as yet, I've just got to know them
It isn't what she's got to say But how she thinks and where she's been To me, the words are nice, the way they sound I like to hear them best that way It doesn't much matter what they mean She says them mostly just to calm me down

My apologies if I've posted this before, but I lovvve the video and it reminds me so much of my nephew (actually, it reminds me of Percy Shelley too!)
With folded arms you occupy the bench like toothache Stood and puffed your chest out like you never lost a war And though I try so not to suffer the indignity of a reaction There were no cracks to grasp or gaps to claw
