@Magna: It's so good to be among like-minded people! I felt so strange when David Bowie passed away, i still remember the day. And wow, i wish i could see him live too, people always say this but i really feel like i was born on the wrong generation.

@Isabella: Your good taste of music must have come from your dad :) He also sounds like a very sweet person so i guess you were alike personality wise too. And it's such a nice idea to pay tribute to him like that!

I wish I could have seen David Bowie live as well. My wife had a sister that passed away long before I met my wife.
Her sister was an avid amateur photographer and music lover. My wife's sister saw Bowie in his Thin White Duke phase. She took a great black and white picture of him on stage in a debonair pose. We have that photo framed among our other pictures.

... " Burning " ~ Sweet (Or " The Sweet " to Limeys :). From a YT playlist (Not by me!! ! 8O ) of their more metal-ish (1970s definition)/hard rock stuff, not the more glitter/bubble/pop I like more by them. Anyway, it's background music. The volume's at 17 (out of 100  ).
Now, " Rock & Roll Disgrace " again by them.

The drums: "chank tank a tank!"
I love when the guitar turns from melodic to fat and chunky during the solo.
This is a magical song.

I'm listening to "onomatopoeia", Starring Magna 8) ... and the sound of my brain falling asleep with high pitched tinnitus.

I'll try again tomorrow!

Great cover

I picture this song fitting in perfectly being played on a "mix tape" in a car with two people on a road trip together.
