Beefheart and Mississippi John Hurt (his voice is so tender) are some of my favorites.
I swear my Mom had a Neil Sedaka album in which he sang Leaving On A Jetplane, but I can't find it anywhere. I wondering if my memory isn't correct.....
Keep you theme going! If you wanted to, knowing you're an avid VH fan, you could post "Could This Be Magic" off of Women and Children since it sounds like it's raining in the background during the recording? I love that song.
Ooh, but then if you're like me, you'd have strong urges to play other songs off that album that are unrelated to rain, like Romeo Delight or In a Simple Rhyme......oh, the conundrums!! !

My wife's as well. She was never a VH fiend like I was, but she gets a kick out of Dave. She says on one hand he's got that womanizer air about him, but his humor (like in this song, his: "Hey! Hey! Were you goin'?") she says he's just too darn entertaining not to enjoy him.....
