I think I told you that the first time I saw them live I nearly fainted because I was "breathing their air". lol. I was all about Eddie, and I still am, but I agree that Dave's just too danged irresistible with his sexist charm (did I say that?) (I hope you know what I mean -- his showmanship?)
LMAO

My nephew's favourite VH
My wife's as well. She was never a VH fiend like I was, but she gets a kick out of Dave. She says on one hand he's got that womanizer air about him, but his humor (like in this song, his: "Hey! Hey! Were you goin'?") she says he's just too darn entertaining not to enjoy him.....
This tune was also used in one of SNL's best fake commercials, Schmitt's Gay. On DVD and reruns they use generic music, but it was there originally.
Don't mean to jump in, but just had to acknowledge that. Dave's self-aware womanizer vibe is also pretty funny. I love how in every VH photo he's looking at the camera, while the other three are just having fun. Also the inside art for Van Halen II, where there are a bunch of pretty nurses on stools, and Dave's sitting in front of them. And you know what? He just might look even more seductive.
