nice pictures ^^ liked the first one mostly.

never tried oil or acrylic. had plans on going try learn draw acrylic, but i think it was too expensive for me at that time.

was at an modern art museum some years ago. a friend with me showed me some painting that looked like something i could've drawn. he asked me "what is the difference between this painting, and your style?".. i went: "uh.. dunno". he: "this one costs 50000 sek (around 7000usd)" :P

wow..I'm not alone (I keep saying that over and over as I rummage through here..;)

I have a gallery at this site.

http://www.renderosity.com

There's 270-odd (some very odd..;) pictures here. The people and landscapes are generated by 3d programs like Bryce, Poser, Mojoworld, etc., but there's at least one model in each that I've done (for the most part)

I find modeling to be relaxing for some reason. Just having control over what comes out (well, varying degrees of control). I use something called Wings, if anyone is interested.

now acrylic paint is rather cheap, except if you want to apply a very thick layer of course.
it's the canvas that is expensive, but you can always use paper, or wood (but you'd need a frame to stick it to, to avoid it to bend) or just a self-made combination of different triplex parts/tissue/... and put this together in an arty kind of way.

and you never know that you'd get thousands of dollar, euro or sek for it :D
