Well it's raining and it's pouring
And my old man, well he is snoring

Rainy day stay

Well my brother, he builds a puzzle
On the blue rug with lazy bubbles

Rainy day please stay

Rain rain don't go away, the sun can come back another day
Rainy day please stay

Well my mother, she doesn't bother with the dishes in the kitchen

Rainy day please stay

Well now I am three thousand miles from a rainy day with my dearest lover

Fathers dreaming of the fall
Mother covers with a shall
Brother's in the yellow hall, painting pictures on the wall
I am listening on the floor, to sounds I used to know
Rain is falling to the ground praying all the hopes
Are found

Rain rain don't go away, the sun can come back another day, rain please stay

Rain rain rain rain...

~~
three thousand miles

..." Adelaide's Lament " - Vivian Blaine - from the OCA (I think) of the musical GUYS AND DOLLS. Actually, it was Barbara Cook and Robert Preston, " Til' There Was You ", from the OCA of the musical THE MUSIC MAN first. Childhood security music!! ! Now Julie Andrews and a younger woman " Sixteen Going On Seventeen ", from the OST of THE SOUND OF MUSIC. This took a long time, and now it's Subby Kaye and others, the title song from I guess the same OCA of GUYS AND DOLLS. Now it's Julie again with "My Favorite Things ", again from the TSOM soundtrack.

..." One Summer Night " by the Danleers - Actually, ' I Will Follow You " by Rick Nelson was on but by the time I got started writing - ! !! !! !! And now it's " Carol ", Chuck Berry - Obviously on an " oldies " tip now :D. I would turn the opening line of the Danleers into " One Summer night/I kissed your ass "! Now it's Paul Anka, " Dians ", not that great a dually but this took long enough that it's " Baby Talk ", Jan & Dean, now.

i am lucky to have a sweet husband. he's got leukemia and i'm gonna miss him horribly when it takes him. i think i'll still think it was worth it.

Oh my goodness cathylynn, I didn't know that. I'm so sorry for his sake and for the heartache you will bear. You're right that love is always worth it! It's a shame how much it can hurt, but that shows how special it is! ((Hugs to you both))
