SPOILER FROM 'LOVE ACTUALLY':
unbearable is love ever worth it?
people - can't live with them, can't live without them.
i am lucky to have a sweet husband. he's got leukemia and i'm gonna miss him horribly when it takes him. i think i'll still think it was worth it.
Oh my goodness cathylynn, I didn't know that. I'm so sorry for his sake and for the heartache you will bear. You're right that love is always worth it! It's a shame how much it can hurt, but that shows how special it is! ((Hugs to you both))

If love wasn't worth it, would there be so many amazing love songs? Love is worth it every single time, even though it may accompany heartbreak as well.
Love is inspiring.
So sing along and love freely.

Thanks, blackicmenace! I needed that today! Oasis is one of my all-time favourite bands!
May your smile shine on Don't be scared Your destiny may keep you warm
We're all of us stars We're fading away Just try not to worry You'll see us some day Just take what you need And be on your way And stop crying your heart out Stop crying your heart out

I'm sorry this happened to your husband...and to you, CathyLynn.
But I'm also glad things are good, and might get better.
Indeed, my grandmother from my mom's side was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 1989. She went through chemotherapy and nearly passed away. She was in a coma for a while, but she pulled through and went into remission. While she was sick, she turned 70, she lived an active, fulfilling life of nearly 94 years of age.
My grandmother absolutely loved Frank Sinatra.
She did it her way, never lost hope and loved life.
