Love the song. Very cool story about how they recorded it too with the producer purposely moving the mic further and further away from Bowie forcing him to shout as the song progresses.

Thanks for this.

I actually didn't know that! Very cool!
I'm accustomed to playing the Michael C. Hall version (I'm sure you've seen me post it?), so it was a great treat to hear Bowie this time!

Watch this, Isabella. It's not where I got my info about the song from. I learned corrected info from this, since apparently the Mic wasn't physically moved but mics further away were triggered. Fascinating.

One of the other reasons I like Heroes: Brian Eno and Robert Fripp were involved. They're favorites of mine. I once co-owned two cats. One was named Eno and the other......Fripp.

Umm...... Wow ?! That was fascinating....! I'm sending the link to my nephew because he mixes and produces for their band. I can't believe all the discrete sounds and instruments involved! Thanks so much!

Exactly! That was so cool to hear those different isolated instruments, sounds, layered together. I would NEVER have picked any of them out individually like that (the obscure and subtle sounds).
