THanks i like my artwork to be vibrant with colours

I love the last one. It looks like a huge swarm of butterflies. (I'm assuming that's what it is.)

I am not super proud of this one, but I am going to rework it until I feel it is just right.

Started playing guild wars 2. lo and behold they have a race of plant people the Silvary. And of course they speak deeply to my dryad obsession. I could not resist to draw a Silvary portrait.

a valiant is a silvary that has been called to a Wyld hunt.

My muse Pharaoh Hatshepsut shows off her new tied dreadlocks. I got the idea for this after hearing that apparently Hatshepsut's mummy shows she had really long hair. I thought tying that up into a bun would keep it in compacted form.


Leopards have upgraded their predation methods just in time for the 21st century.

Seriously, as far as I'm concerned, bankers rank right down in hell with lawyers, politicians, and used car salesmen.

How Humans Settled Eurasia
Just how did the first anatomically modern humans (Homo sapiens) migrate out of Africa to populate the rest of the habitable world?

Spliced these from some Fire Emblem sprites (namely, Rutger, Rei, and Oujay from FE6).

This would be how my character Seth Hirschall would look in Fire Emblem.

Homesick Queen
I haven't decided on a name for this character yet, but I already do know a little bit about her back-story. She was born into the royal family of Kemet (ancient Egypt), but her half-sister the Pharaoh married her off to the Mansa of Mali as part of a diplomatic maneuver to avert international conflict. Here she's privately pining for her homeland back in the Nile Valley, which she still commemorates through the ankh on her necklace and her kohl eyeliner.

I admit the perspective is off on the stool she's sitting on, but I do like how her pose and cross-cultural costume came out.


Doubtful Pharaoh
This as-yet-unnamed Pharaoh of Kemet (or a fantastical counterpart thereof) is the half-sister to the Malian Queen illustrated above. The two young women grew up under the same father and loved each other like full siblings, but in order to resolve an old dispute with the Empire of Mali, the Pharaoh reluctantly married her half-sister off to the Mansa. She has regretted that decision ever since, but it was only one of many challenges she faces as she struggles to keep her eroding old kingdom together.

Beauty is in the Eye

Drew it with a #2 pencil on cheap tracing paper. Go figure, I got a bunch of expensive graphite pencils and forget to carry them, and end up drawing something nice with whatever I find scavenging in my bag.

^ Both the nose and the eye look really cool!

A generic hadrosaur (duck-billed dinosaur) rests in a rainforest glade. I drew the dinosaur entirely from memory, so I hesitate to assign a particular species to it, but it does resemble an Edmontosaurus or an Anatotitan.
