Makalyla that Digital picture is awesome!

Something I did a few days ago, just got a chance to post it here:

Epimeliad
An Epimeliad is a tree nymph, specifically an apple tree nymph, unlike a Dryad, which is an Oak Tree Nymph.

Anyway, I'm playing with my newly installed Adobe Photoshop Elements now, using it to color old line arts:

Tyrannosaurus rex Roars

^^^Gotta love T- Rex! I should get motivated by looking at the cool stuff here,it seems to come in phases with me.A big flurry of creativity and then nothing.

This almost wasn't worth the trouble. I accidently deleted it twice, the layers merging together kind of turned it into a mess, and there's a random color splotch in the lower left-hand corner of it. I'm still satisfied with the results, however.

I don't think I would've noticed the color splotch had you not noticed it.

That said, great work!

Portrait of an ancient Egyptian dancing girl who would perform naked at banquets. Fortunately the Egyptians, like other Africans, did not mind nudity that much, which makes sense considering the hot climate they lived in. The rows of dot-shaped beautification scars around her eyes actually owe their inspiration to the Datoga people of Tanzania, but we actually have found female Egyptian mummies with similar tattoos or scars in their skin.


Portrait of Ramses II, perhaps the most famous Egyptian Pharaoh after King Tut. They may call him Ramses the Great, but personally I think of him more as Ramses the Vain, what with all the self-glorifying monuments he built and his lying about winning the Battle of Kadesh. I drew this from memory, but his crown is based on his colossal statue at Abu Simbel.


Random Native American dude I doodled after thinking about the upcoming Lone Ranger cinematic reboot. I must say though that as much as I like Johnny Depp as an actor, he looks nothing like a real Native American.
