^Cool!

A while ago, I created some sprite-like images of androids in MS Paint. I liked them, but I decided (since I had used the same base for all of them as creating multiple bases would take a long time) they were too similar, so I gave the group some improvements(don't worry, I'll give more improvements to them). Here is how they look now.

At some time latter, I will turn them into characters.

Do you think my project is cool? Or is it just stupid?

^ I do think your digitally drawn art looks better than your traditionally drawn at, at least because it looks neater. Those are actually some pretty cool designs!

^I agree!

It's a contest entry, but I still messed around with the lighting and used a couple new brushes that I downloaded. :)
Oh, and I figured out how to add a watermark, because someone actually did steal something of mine that wasn't watermarked about a week ago. That got resolved quickly, though.

Lightning Bugs

I put plenty of detailing into this picture, as you can see. I used a few shades of green for the grass and dark blue for the night sky, and used two different pens for detailing on the lightning bugs. I added stars for the final touch.

I was so fond of my earlier Hatshepsut and Cleopatra VII drawing that I wanted to color its line art again, this time using Prismacolor pencils that my older cousin once gave me (she's an art teacher). I don't know if Cleopatra's complexion came out right here; she's supposed to be caramel-colored like Zoe Saldana.

This is either finished or close to being finished. It's late so I'm unsure/stopping lol. Felt like doing a self portrait.

I told alpineglow I would post some of my watercolors. These are very old. They are both from about 1978/79. I don't think I could do these today.
They are just stuff in my dorm room. The blue rectangle think was my typewriter. Back in the day, some people though it was a box fan, which changes the perceived scale a bit.

One detail I sort of like about this is the paper that is fold over, one can make out an drawing I was working on of a arm and hand. It was so long ago, and there was nothing I loved more than art.

Here are two drawing. The first is the cat of one of my friends. This would be my art friend. I had an art historian friend, and a photographer friend as well. I want to say the cat was her mother's, but I cannot swear to that. It was about 1980. I think it is based on a photograph I took. Anyway, this is for all of you cat lovers. Meow.

These are beds in the hallway of surgery. I use to clean surgery (1982-1984), and if I finished up early, I could work on what I liked. It is pretty minimal, but they had to be because of time constraints. The straps are so the patient does not roll off.
