These songs were recorded on my laptop with drums from abelton, the vocals are done by a friend of mine. I'm going to try and put a song up every month, the artwork is done by a guy we know.

http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10028061

and here is something i played from my own world

i know it is cacophonous to ears other than mine.

i dance on the cliff faces of thought that most would avoid.

Your cacaphony actually sounds pretty melodious. It stutters around in the beginning but settles firmly into a groove. I like it.

Cover of Nick Drake - Why Leave Me Hanging On A Star

I originally made this video for my friend, since we post videos of songs we're working on back and forth via Facebook, but I decided to post this here too. I am aware my voice is a bit shaky, and some parts might be a bit off. Also, the whole thing was recorded with a netbook mic, so lol.

Merry Christmas! :D

I'm into guitars and amps primarily but, anything music related or art, science etc is of interest. I have some unfinished work here: http://www.myspace.com/laidtorest33
the newest addition is "jen0mstr edit" which i recorded straight through just guitar. I have yet to write lyrics for this one ( i wrote this a year and a half ago and am finaly finishing it). My name's Paul.
It's sloppy and unfinished and i'm likely going to re write the lead passage and completely re record this as i'm new to recording and am not completely satisfied. All of my personal recordins come out harsh and/or with too much low end to my ears.

I've been reintroducing myself to the violin, after about 20 years of not (or rarely) playing.

This is a piece by J.S. Bach. I tried to countryfry or folkify it by adding drone strings and sliding notes. The drone strings worked out okay, but the slides just don't work with Bach.

The violin I bought from a Chinese maker through EBay.

My reason for starting this thread is that being passionate about music and knowing that there are a lot of other aspies out there doing some really incredible things I think it would be a really good idea for us to come out and share what we have . Music is also an intimate piece of yourself as well and its sharing a feeling, a mood, a world-view almost more accurately at times than words themselves can adequately express. Regardless I know we have a lot of talent in here and with any luck this thread will take off in a way that we can actually get to see that talent.

This thread makes me so happy I pooped a little:)
