I find a medium to lower pitched female voice to be very soothing. The beginning of this song is a perfect example.

Anyone for a cheese, lettuce and Marmite sandwich with coffee? Sounds salty to me.

My favorite lines in bold.

I also like the last lines: "get me out of here, get me out of here. I hate it here, get me out of here." Because I've felt that way many times while "Out on the town".

"At nighttime, I go out and see the people
Air goes cool and hurrying on my way
And dressing so sweet, all the people to see
They're looking at me, all the people to see

And when I set my eyes on you
You look like a kitty
And when you're in the mood
Oh, you look so pretty

Caught a glance in your eyes
And fell through the skies
Glance in your eyes
And fell through the skies

I'm walking down the freezing street
Scarf goes out behind
You said, "Get them away"
Please don't say a word

Get me out of here
Get me out of here
I hate it here
Get me out of here"

People have theorized that Nick Drake had ASD. I just know I love his music.

And you read your Emily Dickinson
And I my Robert Frost
And we note our place with book markers
That measure what we've lost

Ok, getting personal here, but I'm among friends and it's nighttime. When I die I don't want to be buried. Even so, the first time I heard this song years ago I fell in love with it because my first thought after hearing it, was envisioning having this song played at my funeral as I was being "carried out". I'm guessing some might find that morbid or sad, but this song seems just perfect to beautifully score the end of a life of a person who thought life was beautiful.

a song that reminded me back when i first heard it as a young man, that i should not be too saddened at being a social reject. that a dodged a bullet far worse.

((Blabby)) ^

You aren't a social reject! You're an incredible person, my dear friend and a valued Planetarian. Lots of hugs are going your way! I'm glad you dodged a bullet but I'm also very glad to have you in my life.
