Tree in Winter

I used two different programs to make this. I used Hue Paint to make the actual painting. I experimented with brush sizes for the tree and I only used one color (a mix of more than one color). The other program, iOrnament, I made the background with.

Had I drawn this a few months ago, I would have emphasized this Pharaoh’s, uh, backside a lot more, but since I don’t want to be accused of over-sexualizing my black female characters anymore I’ve decided against that. I still like how her slender curves came out here though.

Man, I love drawing this character so much that she's become my default muse!

I dunno what you could do to emphasise it more. She already has a sexy bum

You could tell she has a good derriere through her loincloth? Thank you! :D

^ Thank you again, they are definitely my favorite subject matter.

Well, that and dinosaurs:

Sue the Tyrannosaurus Rex
My portrait of Sue, the world's largest and most famous Tyrannosaurus rex specimen. At least I drew the portrait using a photo of Sue's skull as a reference, but the plumage may obscure any resemblance. Nonetheless I like how the feathered crest on its snout came out. Drawing and coloring feathered tyrannosaurs is so fun I'm surprised I don't do it more often.

You're getting really good at digital coloring and shading, Brandon. You're much better than you were a few months ago. :thumleft:

^ Wow, I've improved that rapidly? I think it has helped that I've put more thought into my pictures' light source lately.

I thought I would have a go at a digital painting. This is one of the Kaiju from Pacific Rim:
